The Torque Converter Stator Roller provides contact wear points between moving components within the converter stator.
HOW IT WORKS
The stator roller seats inside a pocket and makes contact with a stationary race. It creates a one-way clutch (sprag type) that allows the stator to spin only one direction and to lock in the other.
