The C2 Clutch Friction Plate is a friction (clutch) plate that is alternately stacked with steel (reaction) plates to drive the gear unit.
When hydraulically applied, the rotating clutch C2 friction plate creates rotational output by engaging components within the transmission.
The C2 clutch friction plate allows the correct operating ranges to be reached, the clutch to function correctly, and the proper temperature to be maintained.
